Indian Food Worth Slowing Down For
Some meals are about convenience, others are about sitting down, taking your time, and actually enjoying what’s on the table. At our Indian Restaurant in Moorabbin, we lean toward the second. Our kitchen focuses on flavour that builds slowly, with sauces prepared carefully and spices added in stages so each dish develops richness without feeling heavy.
The tandoor plays its own role in the experience. Meats and vegetables are marinated well ahead of service, then cooked over open heat to bring out a gentle char and natural smokiness. The result is flavour that feels rounded and balanced rather than overly rich.
Across the menu, familiar favourites sit alongside dishes guests grow into over time. There are comforting curries, slow-cooked lentils, aromatic rice dishes, and grilled plates designed to be shared. Some visits are about sticking with a favourite order, other times, curiosity takes over. Either way, we serve Indian food that feels generous, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable.

Lovely service with in depth explanations of dishes and useful recommendations. We ordered the Haryali Lamb curry, Shahi Malal Kofta and Jungli Murghi Jalfrezi (chicken curry) with three different types of naan. Each dish was so flavorful and delicious. There were so many options on the menu to choose from! Highly recommend.

Wow, this is probably the best Indian food I've tasted in Melbourne.
So far, we've visited them twice. Every bite has been flavourful & delightful.
The menu features some very unique & delicious dishes that we haven't found elsewhere.
Dash (the owner) is highly passionate about his craft. And it shines through in the cooking. He has been very accommodating to our dietary needs too - offering to custom-make dishes outside the menu.
If you would like an experience beyond the typical "fried bread & curry sauce" fare, give them a visit!
